The world is bathed in sunshine...
Butterflies and bees sail effortlessly over the waves of
daffodils, dandelions and daisies that decorate
the sea of green that is our lawn
'La vie,' in all its splendour, calls me outside...
But before I swan off...
Just wanted to leave you with this thought found 'here'
It struck a chord in me today :)
Compromise. It is one thing to meet another halfway. It is another to cave in and betray our own truth.
Adieu mes amis, à la prochaine...
Hi Ange

Just lovely ... your words & the fabulous little boat just transport me to a wonderful place.
ReplyDeleteFabulous quote ... so true!
Have a lovely week! :-)
Dear Ange,
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while and I too think of you very often. The sailboats are lovely, especially with the introduction of calligraphy. Also the colourations capture the essence of sailboating. You have such a wonderful imagination.
I like the quote and I think we should all carry it around in our wallets to be reminded daily that buying an item to make us feel good after someone has hurt us is not the answer, rather to not betray ourselves, our own beliefs.
Thank you for sharing.
Wishing you and your family all the very best,
Egmont
thank you for your charming little boats and beautiful words that inspire. What a lovely life you lead...all the best Ange
ReplyDeleteHi Ange
ReplyDeleteLove these little boats you are creating.. so sweet.. I might jump in one and sail away... the quote's not half bad either.... a slippery sloap.. haha
Hope you are having a lovely week... sounds like the sun is making it's way to you... ciao xxxx Julie [thanks for the anniversary wishes.]
Very nice work Ange. Your boat is delightful, as are your photographs. Compromise is interesting I believe the english language lets us down as compromise indeed has degrees and more than one meaning.
ReplyDeleteAnge, love the quote. it really hit home today.
