If "the world belongs to the energetic..."

And ...
"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm."

Then (if I am to believe Mr Ralph Waldo Emerson)
that must be why I'm still up burning the midnight oil on exciting projects...
Lucky I converted this old storm lantern into a lamp a while ago
Midnight oil's not easy to find in these parts ;-)
Back soon...

  8. Up burning the midnight oil! I love it. That was truly an "electrifying" experience. What a cool idea for your fuel shortage and you are quite clever to know how to do that. This post made me smile. Can't wait to see what other things you've been busy doing. If you're like me, you run more on caffeine than sleep. ~Lili

  10. That's a great lamp - such character. So, did you get them to school today? Ours got there, but there were clearly a lot of absences... I'm still amused by the image of your buried coffee cups.

  14. That lamp reminds me of a kerosene one my tante used to check on her chickens with.

Can't think of a famous quote that says 'communication makes the world go round' so you 'll just have to get my clumsy way of putting it instead ;-) Your comments are precious. Thanks for dropping by!
